Hi, my name is Jeff Angell, I am the owner and principle technician of Phoenix Dent Repair. I learned paintless dent repair (PDR) in Omaha, NE in 1990 and the art of PDR became natural to me to the point where I was entrusted as a PDR personal trainer. I’ve worked and trained hundreds of individuals from entrepreneurs to dealership employees throughout the country.
After training in Nebraska I went to Brazil and trained over 100 people and worked in a dent shop/body shop there. Then I went to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and trained transport and factory employees PDR. While there I also enjoyed working on the assembly line at a Volkswagen plant fixing dents.
After returning back to the states in 95′, I went to work chasing hail storms across the Midwest for a number of years. I landed in Des Moines, IA, and worked there on dealer, auction, and hail accounts for 9 years. I have been in Phoenix for over 14 years now and presently work with over 20 different body shops and rental car repair facilities- having fixed over 4000 hail-damaged cars since the hail storm that struck Arizona on October 4th, 2010. We also take care of a few car collections and car museums in town, working on $1M+ cars.
As the owner, I understand the importance of providing quality service, and for every vehicle we repair I place a lifetime guarantee on our workmanship. I had the worst luck ever and someone hit my 3 week old brand new car this past weekend in a parking lot. I reached out to a body repair shop and never got a reply, others wanted to charge what seemed to be a lot for the size of the dents. I was also worried with my car being so new! I read Jeff’s Yelp reviews and was confident he could help me and HE DID! The price was more than reasonable, he was a few minutes early and made the process so easy. I just continued my morning working from home until he was done. I could not have been more pleased with Jeff’s work on my car. There is no evidence that the three blemishes ever existed. He even showed up early and called to let me know he was coming early. These days you’re lucky if repair people come at all much less on time. Very pleasant to work with great repair and very reasonably priced. 8/16/2023 I am SO happy I used Jeff at Phoenix Dent Repair. He was extremely friendly, travels to you, and completely fixed a dent that I thought would be impossible to get out. Car shops were quoting me thousands of dollars to take apart my car and get entire new parts. I could not afford that and Jeff's price was reasonable and the quality of work is outstanding. 11/11/2022 I was stationed in Georgia for 7 months and while I was out there I had some damage on the car. I am hesitant on who puts their hands on my car, but PHX Dent Repair had my full trust after looking at the reviews. The reviews don't do justice on how good of a job Jeff did on the car. I thought I was going to have to get the dents pulled and then painted, but come to find out Jeff pulled the dents, polished the car, and it was just paint transfer that he got off immediately! 6/24/2022 Jeff did an amazing job getting the door ding from a not so considerate person out of my Toyota Highlander and while he was at my house, I asked about the dings in my Toyota 4 Runner, and he was able to remove them. Very personable, professional, on time and most of all did an amazing job. Both of my vehicles have metallic Toyota paint which if you have you know that it is nearly impossible to touch up. 4/29/2022 - All of the reviews before mine are correct - Jeff is a miracle worker. The side of my car was dented and scratched and the estimates I got to repair it were all over my $500 insurance deductible. Jeff came out and in about 35 minutes it looked like nothing ever happened to my car. He got out the dent and the scratches. I was shocked. 6/24/2021 Jeff came by this morning and did an incredible job on my Porsche 911. I had a sizable dent after someone with their RV decided to open one of their doors in a Starbucks parking lot. Of course there were 25 other parking spaces, but they decided the one next to my car would be the most appropriate one to park in which was at the back end of the parking lot. This is the second time I've used Jeff... the last one being my BMW M3, which had a significant size dent and the dealership said they would need to respray the entire door.
